The car gets a widebody aero kit from Rocket Bunny, while the exhaust system other than the wheels has been taken from an R35 GT-R. Right from the outside, you’ll notice the golden-colored GT-R wheels and that carbon-fiber hood, along with the purple wrap. How cool is that? This build has been made possible by Knight Racer, one of the few customizers in the UK to make such insane Japanese car builds. This one is a cross between a Nissan 350Z and an R35 Nissan GT-R. The modifications include an intake kit from Mishimoto, custom UpRev software for the ECU, and an intake manifold from Motordyne MREV2 Flowed. Under the hood, the standard 3.5-liter V6 motor gets plenty of enhancements that result in a decent 310 hp output. The car rides on staggered 20-inch alloy wheels from Concept One, a carbon-fiber hood from Seibon, and a pair of Iron-Man-styled custom-made LED headlamp units with daytime running lights. The cabin offers high-end satellite navigation from Pioneer with a motorized touchscreen display, USP input ports, a Phoenix Gold audio system with a 5-channel amp, and burnt orange leather seats, among several others. One of the main attractions of this build is the Lamborghini-style scissor doors, which also open like normal doors. This example received plenty of customizations, but the motor has been kept free from any forced induction systems. For handling purposes, the car got coilovers from JIC, brake units from Rotora, and other upgrades from K&N as well.Īnother modified Nissan 350Z is here in a shiny metallic blue vinyl wrap. The powertrain of the 350Z received a twin-turbocharger kit from GReddy along with Mishimoto enhancement parts, and it is expected that the original V6 has been retained. On the inside, the only information disclosed is that the car received an Alpine stereo system in place of the stock audio unit, while there are plenty of carbon-fiber components from EVO-R. Other than the original headlamp units, the exterior gets majorly customized with a widebody kit and a different front fascia and wheels as well. Other than a couple of exterior shots, the builder has kept the majority of the information regarding the car hush-hush. To start with the suspension of the car, the stanced appearance has been done with coil-over units from T-Demand, along with both front and rear upper arms and upper mounts from the same brand. However, there are some serious modifications that went both under the hood and on the interior, apart from the ground-kissing exterior of the car. Moreover, the target of this build is to stand out from the rest in a car show, and it does that without much effort. The owner and builder of this example, Yuki Hamamoto, required eight long years and extensive work to make this "masterpiece", and honestly, it looks cool! This is a near-perfect build of a stanced 2002 Nissan 350Z all the way from Japan. To start with the intake, the motor gets a Z1 intake tube and a Kinetix stainless steel intake manifold.įurthermore, the motor also got a coolant overflow tank from Weapon R, a Mishimoto aluminum radiator, and a performance Y pipe specially made for the 350Z by ISR. The stock motor of the 350Z, a 3.5-liter VQ35DE V6, doesn’t get any forced induction, but it gets plenty of upgrades. On the outside, the car gets the RAY blue paintwork from the R35 GT-R, while the roof, door handles, and badges are painted in a special carbon black paint. Also, the windows get tints that look cool. To uplift the interior mood, the car gets LED ambient lighting and a shift knob from Concept Z, among others. ![]() Other than that on the inside, the car gets several sportier enhancements and parts, such as the Sparco steering wheel, a 10-inch DVC subwoofer from Alpine, a Kenwood 2-din audio system, and NVX amplifiers on the rear and door speakers. ![]() While the car retains its original motor, the original owner made some tasteful upgrades to it.
